In the comics, Jennifer Walter's father's name was William Morris Walters and Elaine (née Banner) Walters died in a car crash when Jennifer was seventeen.
Stan Lee, who created the Incredible Hulk in 1962 with artist Jack Kirby, does the voice of She-Hulk's father. She-Hulk was the last character Stan Lee created, with artist John Buscema, before leaving comics in 1980.
At her school reunion, She-Hulk is seen doing part of the Macarena dance steps.
The Abomination is shown working with the Leader again, this time by his own will instead of being micro-chipped to do the Leader's bidding like in The Return of the Beast: Part 1 (1996) and The Return of the Beast: Part 2 (1996). Also from this point on, the Abomination wears orange shorts instead of black, which he also wore at one point in the comics during the 1970's.
This is the first episode since Doomed (1996) to feature Jennifer Walters, the original human form of She-Hulk.
