Stop-motion animator Ray Harryhausen is animated in stop motion when he meets history detective Wes Cowan as a guest expert in the King Kong Camera story. Ray said in all his years it was the first time that he himself had ever been animated!
In the King Kong Camera story "detective" Wes Cowen meets legendary visual effects pioneer and animator Ray Harryhausen to learn about early stop motion work on the original King Kong by his mentor Willis O'Brien and a MItchell Standard camera said to have done the work. Producer Kristian Berg used stop motion to introduce Mr. Harryhausen and Ray told him it was the first time anyone had animated HIM.
