What really makes Full House so good is its level of comedy and drama. They try to keep the same level in all the episodes, but they never are even. "Daddy's Home" is funny, but the seriousness could have been better written.
This episode follows Joey asking Jesse how to be a courageous ladies' man. Joey gets clad in black leather and takes off on Jesse's motorcycle. Every episode has two parallel stories, (not all of which are similar) and this is an instance where the subplot is the funnier one.
The regular plot has Michelle saying her first word: "Dadda." Only it is Jesse and Joey who she utters the word too. Danny is sad of this and schedules a father-daughter day to keep the bond between them strong. In this, we get another look at just how much of a spoiled brat DJ really is, heavily hinting for her father to take her to the mall as there's a half-price sale. Both her and Danny are sad at the end of the day because of how much fun they had. Danny says "The more fun we had, the more I hated to see it end." Out of their 5-minute pep-talk which is supposed to be very therapeutic, it is only this line that we get to learn anything from and everything else in their talk seems to barely make any sense. At least the rest of the episode was great.
