- Carole Burrell: Employment agency told me they were sending over a trustworthy, capable, well-qualified custodian. Would that be you?
- Dr. Richard Kimble: I hope so.
- Carole Burrell: Have you worked around children before?
- Dr. Richard Kimble: I worked for a doctor. He was a pediatrician.
- Carole Burrell: Well, your main job here will be keeping the building clean and the grounds in order. The city let us have it all rent free, but we have to keep it up. Oh, also, you'll probably have to deal with an occasional crisis like a skinned knee or a runny nose.
- Dr. Richard Kimble: I can handle it.
- Carole Burrell: [referring to Kimble] Hey, think of it Tony, we'll have the only custodian in town who can hit left-handed pitching.
- Tony Burrell: Yeah, great. We'll put him in the clean-up spot.
