A meeting between Peacekeepers and Scarrans
Tweekums24 September 2012
Warning: Spoilers
The previous episode showed us what the boys were up to during their 'mental training'; now it is time to see how the girls got on acquiring parts for Moya. The most important thing they required was a modification that would enable them to disguise Moya's energy signature so they could get past Scarran or Peacekeeper scans. There are people who can do the work but it will take time. While waiting for the work to be done they have quite a shock when Aeryn and Sikozu spot Grayza, Braca and four Peacekeeper commandos. Things get even more worrying when they see the Peacekeepers meeting with a similar number of senior Scarrans. Chiana and Noranti meanwhile have adopted genetic disguises so they won't be caught by the Peacekeepers. It soon becomes apparent that Grayza is trying to negotiate a peace deal with the Scarrans; a treaty which would see the Luxon worlds ceded to the Scarrans.

I like how Farscape occasionally divides the crew then shows us what each half are doing in consecutive episodes; in this case it meant that for most of this episode Crichton was away from the action. Each of the female cast were given roughly the same importance here which kept things interesting. The plot nicely advanced the season plot arc as it set up a likely confrontation between Peacekeepers and Scarrans as well as giving Moya's crew a mission to prevent the war and rescue one of their own... I won't spoil anything by saying which one as the final scene is quite a surprise! While this was another more serious episode it didn't entirely lack humour; Chiana's attempt to get the price down earned a chuckle... talking of Chiana she looked rather fetching in her disguise with blue skin and red hair... although Like D'Argo I prefer the "elegant grey". The episode didn't actually end with the word's 'To be continued' but it had a cliff hanger that will leave fans keen to learn what happens next.
