Loved it, but...

Warning: Spoilers
As great as it was seeing Nancy, Sue Ann, and Cindy again, there were was a production error in this episode. That is, they made it seem like Jo barely knew the 3 girls, when that's not the case, as Jo was seen interacting with them several times in seasons 2 and 3, and got along with them great.

the reunion

Sure was fun seeing the original cast again. For the life of me I cannot understand how the original stellar group got dropped. One moment they had been fledgling stars on the way up, then, just nothing. I'm not partial to Molly RIngwald, I never missed her, but these other three, they were totally deserving of their (apparent) careers.

So, okay, there you have it. After a particularly bad start to this season, even The Raven lightens up, and awards a soft-hearted 8. I zapped that first with a broadside of lower than low scores because of, ahem, two performers irritating me, I won't mention names (but initials CL and KF cannot be resisted) and that kick-off episode with 'the supposed Winnebago' was pa-pa-pa-pathetic! But what with Stacey Q and here, the reunion, my purchase of the DVD Is vindicated.

I enjoyed the season one clips, and the episode was funny. But nothing was especially special about the plot of Jo feeling left out.

Warning: Spoilers
Blair, Natalie, and Tootie have a reunion with some of the girls from season one, Nancy, Cindy, and Sue Ann. Jo feels left out.

I have to counter another review here. While Jo and the season one girls knew each other, they never lived together in the dormitory. Therefore the way she knew them is very different from how Blair, Natalie, and Tootie knew them. I mean when you live together your camaraderie is bound to be different from just going to school together and hanging out in the cafeteria. Plus, they all probably went there for years and knew each other for longer than just the season one.

I've always felt Jo is a bit introverted anyway. So no wonder she felt awkward with them around.

I enjoyed the season one clips, and the episode was funny. But nothing was especially special about the plot of Jo feeling left out. 7/10.
