"Unknown Victim" is a very well made episode of "The F. B. I.", though the criminals in it...well...they aren't the brightest you'll ever see!

When the story begins, a college student is kidnapped in what the kidnappers think is her home. What they don't know is that this young lady borrowed the intended victim's car and they end up kidnapping a woman who is NOT from a rich family after all! Regardless, the leader of the kidnapers (Tom Skerritt) is not the type to just let her go...whether they get paid anything or not. Will his wimpy little brother (Fabian) put up with killing this innocent lady? And, can the FBI catch up to them in time?

This is a very interesting and tense episode. What made it really interesting was the moral dilemma....should the rich family help pay the ransom even though it turns out it's NOT their daughter being held?
