Cold, calculating and remorseless.

When the story begins, a man is assassinated by an unknown machine gunner. As he's dying, he informs folks about another assassination...one to come very shortly. It seems that Anton Christopher (William Wyndom) is a super-assassin, much like the real life Carlos the Jackyl. No one knows what he looks like and this is because he's a very remorseless guy who kills anyone who learns who he is! You see this first hand when he kills the pilot who brought him to kill a famous peace activist, Bishop Atwood (Dean Jagger). Will he next kill his assistant (Tom Skerritt) or will it be Atwood...or perhaps someone else?

This is a very good episode because it doesn't glamorize the assassin and makes him a very ordinary looking man. The script is quite nice and the show well worth your time.
