Guest starring Gordon Jump

Warning: Spoilers
This was a very dark episode, and all credit to Diff'rent Strokes for treading on very uncomfortable and chilling territory. The laugh track should have been banished from this, especially with the grim yet realistic subject matter.

The game changer
ThunderKing612 April 2020
The episode that changed the world.

It was a thoughtful and over the limits kinda show.

Many can relate or have some type of reaction to the subject. They talked about a subject without going too graphic about it.

Too bad people of today are much worse than the characters back then.

Arnold and Dudley's New Best Friend, Mr.Horton
HaddonfieldJason13 January 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Arnold and Dudley are lured into the carefully planned trap of a child molester, Mr. Horton. Mr.Horton runs the local bike shop. I learned to never go to that bike shop from this episode. Mr. Horton is a great villain he likes luring children into his back room and giving kids wine and pills. His favorite thing to do is to skinny dip with kids and take pictures of them. Arnold and Dudley decide to go to the bathroom where Mr. Horton washes them in the shower playing "Neptune King of the Sea". Mr.Horton really likes kids. Dudley is Mr. Horton's best friend in the episode. Mr. Horton decides to give Dudley a little pill which will make him feel good. Mr. Horton has a collection of naked pictures. He likes to give kids wine and tells them not to tell their parents because it's their little secret. Mr. Horton's favorite cartoon is Murphy the Mouse where Murphy takes off all of his clothes.

Laugh Tracks For Molester's Jokes
TheFearmakers25 October 2022
Someone this "Very Special Episode" which is actually infamously campy and pitiful, has been taken as some kind of brave historic document when it's really sickening to the core, and here's why...

The audience or laugh tracks or both combined keep laughing even after Gordon Jump's title Bicycle Man is a molester... He'll do some creepy move on the kids, and then say something he thinks is funny and it's infectious because the audience cracks up... Tell me there's NOTHING wrong with that...

If this episode (or two, actually) was supposed to be ultra-serious, and making families talk, they shouldn't have watched the episode where the show itself laughs at the jokes of a child molester. Shows just how cheap this production was.
