I quite enjoyed seeing Garrison visit Southfork. It was interesting to see more of the history of Dallas and the families and background that made the show. Despite just making one appearance it was good to see Miss Ellie's side of the family. We saw over the course of the show that Jock had relatives and other Ewings show up so it was nice to see a Southworth. The show went beyond mentions and actually fleshed out a character with a rich story which was great writing. J. R was in great form and the feud with Garrison was well executed. Garrison's story was a deep and moving one. He returned to be with family and die in Southfork.
