- J.R. Ewing: I'm asking you to consider... moving back to South Fork.
- Sue Ellen Ewing: You must be joking.
- Sue Ellen Ewing: [her one condition as regards moving back to South Fork] I want Mandy Winger out of the picture.
- Clayton Farlow: Look, you, uh... be careful, huh?
- Dusty Farlow: I'm always careful around horses.
- [Clayton chuckles]
- Dusty Farlow: It's the women that get me in trouble.
- [both laugh]
- J.R. Ewing: [as Mandy storms into his office] Well, this is a nice surprise!
- Mandy Winger: It's a sure day for it! Just when were you gonna tell me anyway?
- J.R. Ewing: Tell you what? What-?
- Mandy Winger: What the hell do you think? Sue Ellen's moving back to Southfork.
- J.R. Ewing: [sighs] We only decided that yesterday, darling. Mandy...
- Mandy Winger: No, you listen! The one thing I counted on with you this time was honesty. I've given up *everything* and *everyone* for you this time, J.R.! *Everything!* You told me you *loved* me!
- J.R. Ewing: I *do* love you, and I have been honest with you.
- Mandy Winger: Sure, when it's been convenient!
- J.R. Ewing: [sighs] Mandy, you're making too much out of this whole thing. And I'm sorry you found out about this before I had a chance to tell you. But, yes, Sue Ellen is moving back to Southfork. Not because she wants to for herself, or not because I want her there, Lord knows. That's the last thing I want. We're only doing this for John Ross.
- Mandy Winger: So you're reconciling for the sake of your child.
- J.R. Ewing: We're not reconciling anything, honey. She's just gonna be living here so that John Ross will have us both *every* day. You know how hard it is for children being shoved from one parent to another. It's not fair. He deserves more than that. And I love that boy.
- Mandy Winger: So you've chosen him over me.
- J.R. Ewing: [scoffs] You know better than that.
