- Performers for an ice show mysteriously disappear before the big opening. Kelly learns it's part of an assassination plot on the show's opening night, but she's captured before she can alert anyone.
- When two skaters at an ice show disappear, the owner calls Charlie and sends the girls to check it out. Later the security guard at the arena is also taken, told by the kidnappers to call the owner and tell him that he's sick but he's sending someone to replace him. Later Kelly and Kris try out for the show and somehow make it. Later two skaters come out of nowhere and offer to fill in for the missing skaters, and they do well and are accepted. Kelly finds the whole things suspect. Later the show's handyman is also taken. And one of the replacement skaters has a relative who can fill in for the man.—rcs0411@yahoo.com
- Charlie is contacted by his old friend, Max Brown, the owner/operator of an ice show. Although nothing was stolen, Max contacted Charlie to tell him that his office had been broken into and one of his files ransacked four days before the opening of his new show. By the time that the Angels and Bosley meet with ornery old Max who is less than confident that three young female detectives and constantly eating Bosley can do anything for him, he further reports that his headlining pair, Jack Ward and Helene Robinson, have gone missing, perhaps on a romantic fling as they were known to be having an affair (Jack being a married man). To investigate, amateurs Kelly and Kris having the monumental task of making it into the show itself, Max who cannot use his sway with the show's artistic director, Alvin, to hire them. While a fabulous pairs team happens to appear to audition to replace Jack and Helene, the collective may not notice that some smaller players associated with the show or the arena have also gone missing - including Paul an arena security guard, and the show's prop master Iggy - with replacements miraculously showing up. They believe that one of Max's employees, a Joe Friday named Billy who is seemingly loyal to the show - especially Helene - but is mentally a little slow, may know more than he lets on. In addition, if they discover that a homeless drunk named Mason Fairchild has been living outside the arena, they may get some pieces to the puzzle based on what he has seen, although they have to be careful what from Mason to believe, both because of his drinking and he being prone to cryptic flowery language. What Mason does see is a dark blue limousine with blacked out windows and a special license plate which could prove problematic in bringing the case to a satisfactory conclusion without some diplomatic assistance.—Huggo
- Ice show stars Jack Ward and Helene Robinson are kidnapped six days before opening night and suspicion falls on Billy, a mentally ill handyman with a crush on Helene. The Angels suspect there's more to this case, especially after two foreign skaters; Olga and Luisi, offer their services to the show having already memorized the routines of the missing stars. Next to disappear is Iggy, the show's prop man along with a floor plan of the auditorium. Iggy is soon replaced by a relative of Olga's. A promising lead is provided to Sabrina by a homeless man living in the parking lot who links the series of crimes with a limousine sporting diplomatic license plates. Kelly follows the limo to an Arabian restaurant, but she is captured and locked in an abandoned warehouse with Iggy and the missing skaters. She escapes by catapulting up to a window and returning to the ice show.
