After the final pursuit, Getraer and Cahill ride/drive past Jon, who was standing by the van, which was adjacent to the car with the ramp. About a minute later, Getraer is shown passing the car with the ramp and Cahill pulls up behind it.
During the last chase scene Ponch calls in as "7 Mary 5". Jon is "7 Mary 3" and Ponch is "7 Mary 4" in every other episode.
During the initial chase at the start of the show the Supercyclist climbs the ramp to jump a fence and his personal camera guy films him. The camera guy is standing between the tan Pontiac and white Chevy. Baker and Ponch peek over the fence at the Supercyclist with the Pontiac and Chevy visible, but the camera guy is missing. In the very next shot the camera guy is standing near the cars again.

The supercycle is said to have a supercharger and off-road suspension, with the supercharger kicking in at 60 MPH. Superchargers are mechanically driven by engine RPM not vehicle MPH. The supercyle Ponch rides has the same suspension as the regular one Jon rides.
While pursuing the Phantom on the supercycle Ponch hits some broken blocks at a relatively low speed. It is later stated the frame was cracked, but the frame never contacted the blocks, only the exhaust pipes.
At the end it is revealed Jon & Ponch got the charges against Sheila dropped and each has a date with her. While it is possible they may have advised the district attorney on the case, law enforcement agencies have policies against officers fraternizing with suspects, especially in a situation where they intervened for one in a criminal case.
When the film of the first pursuit is shown on the TV news, a camera angle showing Jon and Ponch riding up to the ramp was taken from the actual show, as the camera angle could not have been taken by the pickup truck following Jon & Ponch.
At the test track the first time, the motorcycle is heard to downshift yet the rider's foot is nowhere near the gearshift.
At the end, Getraer chews out Ponch for jumping the car. Getraer, who arrived a few minutes later, was so far behind he would not have been able to see either jump take place.
