While Woods is riding on top of the criminals car, it makes a jump. When the car lands all the hub caps fly off, however, on the next shot of the car all the hub caps are in tact and on the car.
Recently promoted detectives are placed on probation for a period of time until they have proved competence at their new position. There are several instances gross misconduct such as unlawful or excessive force displayed. One is striking a citizen at a party in front of many witnesses- and then failing to report it. Others include handcuffing someone that has not committed a crime and pulling a gun on someone that kissed you. Officers are accountable for their equipment and would not leave a pair of handcuffs on someone at a bar. This conduct would result in at least being removed from that position and likely dismissal from the police force as well as criminal charges.
