"Old Money" is a failed television pilot. Apparently, the network didn't like the show. Later, it was shown as an installment of "CBS Summer Playhouse"...a show that featured a different failed plot each episode.
The show is set at a huge mansion where a nice young lady, Tammy (Lori Laughlin), comes to work. But she soon sees that the family is made up mostly of jerks who are selfish and awful. Folks there range from folks who like Tammy because she's pretty and those who want to get rid of her because they can. Can Tammy survive in such a hostile work place?
This pilot episode isn't terrible, though it does have a very invasive laugh track and many of the jokes fell flat. But it's tolerable and mildly entertaining if you don't mind that too many of the folks are one dimensional.
