Sex & Nudity

  • A girl wears a white nightgown, but it isn't very revealing.
  • Gar affectionately touches Diana's cheek and tells her that she has five o' clock shadow.

Violence & Gore

  • In the opening Midnight Society segment of the show, Andy admits that he accidentally killed a mourning dove with a badminton birdie.
  • The "circle of life" is mentioned (things are born, things die, phrases like that).
  • The paw of a dead wolf is seen sticking out from under a tarp, but it doesn't look realistic.
  • Laura and Gar get into an argument about Diana's upcoming hunting trip. Laura tries to make Gar and Diana feel guilty by telling them facts about hunting such as how an animal suffers when caught in a trap, how bullets hurt animals and how hunters use clubs to beat animals to death.
  • Diana sees a snarling wolf with glowing blue eyes and sharp teeth at her window in the night and she screams.
  • Gun phrases like "rifle", "bullet" and "shoot" are all used at least once.
  • Laura jumps out from behind a tree while Diana and Gar are practice-hunting in the woods, scaring them. Gar scolds her for sneaking up on them and mentions that she's lucky he didn't have a rifle.
  • Diana has a dream about a wolf climbing into her bed and attacking her. When she wakes up, she has claw-marks on her arm.
  • Diana/wolf nearly gets hit to death with a baseball bat several times. Her father has a change of heart and doesn't hit her, allowing her to turn back into a human.
  • Gar gets his foot caught in a steel trap, but he's rescued by another hunter.
  • Diana's father tells Laura that if his daughter is hurt, the wolf will pay for it.

Profanity

  • No swearing, but some mild name-calling like "cruel", "this girl's from another planet", "beast", "weirdo" and "dumb".
  • "bummed" is said.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • None, although amber-glass bottles from what may or may not be beer are seen on the windowsill of the house briefly.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The description from Laura about animal cruelty is very intense and could bother some viewers.
  • There are minor jump-scares (wolves popping in from windows, a girl jumping out from behind a tree), that might frighten younger viewers.
  • The dead wolf's paw under the tarp and Gar getting his foot caught in the trap could scare younger viewers.
  • Andy's description of the dying mourning dove might bother some viewers.
