The final chapter in Archie's strike
Jimmy_the_Gent413 December 2017
Archie worries about the strike while Edith, Mike and Gloria are all working.

Another good episode as the Bunkers face high prices and little money coming in. We also get the first appearance of Stretch Cunningham, played by James Cromwell. He is funny in a sort of Art Carney/Honeymooners way. Other funny scenes as Archie has to greet Edith with a "How was your day?" when she gets home from work. There is a good Archie/Mike scene when Mike comes home with some big salty pretzels, they seem to be getting along for a minute until they get into an argument about Mike putting mustard on the pretzel. The strike finally ends with Archie getting a 15% raise, though Mike points out that the cost of living will be going up higher.

Stretch Cunningham "The King of Comedy"

Not as bad as pt1. Not as good as pt2 & 3. Felt like it could of been packed into the previous 3 pts. First appearance of legendary Stretch Cunningham. Mustard/pretzel weak redo of the classic sock/sock scene. Archie really is low paid even for the 70s.
