Sex & Nudity

- Man hallucinates seeing a topless woman in the woods at night; bare breasts are briefly seen. In several women's attire, cleavage is visible. There is a scene of implied fellatio. One scene where woman confronts two strange men in a shack has implied sexual violence but nothing happens.
- Dialogue has references to sex, tampons, penis, nipples, sex practice of dogging, and implied bestiality.
Violence & Gore

- A man's penis is bitten off; his crotch is covered in blood. He grasps at it. No nudity.
- The violence is present and frequent, but not particularly graphic, for the most part. This movie is more suspenseful than gorey.
- There are a handful of incidents revolving around murder, including a young male getting stabbed in the head with an axe, and a girl being drowned. Most of such scenes are fairly bloody, but not very graphic.
- The mutilated corpse of a man falls on a girl.
- A goat is suddenly hit with a car, we see blood on the car and the animal is implied to be suffering and agonizing and is afterwards hit and killed by one of the characters (offscreen). The goat is implied to be going to be eaten.
- The background story is about a man who is said to torture and abuse people, also children.
- Two men are assumed to be deranged and dangerous killers (which turns out to be a partial misunderstanding). One of them says to like eating veal tongue, and asks if a girl's tongue has the same taste.

- Several sexual references, including a story about oral sex. Nothing too graphic.

- This movie is about characters who hunt hallucinogenic mushrooms in order to get high. We also see how hallucinations make the characters insane which ultimately causes lethal results.
- There are specific dialogues about different types of mushrooms and the effects they make.
- A girl has scary premonitory dreams after the consumption of a particular mushroom.
- Marijuana smoking is displayed twice.
- No alcohol drinking nor cigarette smoking.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- This movie contains numerous frightening moments, including jumpy scenes, running and hiding in the woods while being chased, and plenty of screams.
- Shrooms is overall not aimed at young kids.
- The characters are stalked by a hooded man.
- There are rather scary and intense nightmares, hallucinations, and visions.
- Some quick flashbacks of torture are portrayed. They are brief and not graphic, but somewhat disturbing.
- The final twist is quite surprising and intense.
- People who are bothered by drug use should most likely avoid this movie.
