This is probably one of the best countdowns for horror fans, it is a countdown of all the scariest moments on television, film and music videos. Jimmy Carr hosts a list of popular choices including: Train Pulling Into a Station (one of the first ever films made), Star Wars for Darth Vader, Dracula, Cracker for the Robert Carlyle episode, Peeping Tom, Captain Scarlet for The Mysterons, Brookside for body under the patio, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for The Queen's transformation, Alice Cooper, Frankenstein, Michael Jackson's Thriller, Shallow Grave, Misery (particularly for the hobbling scene), Fatal Attraction, Reservoir Dogs for the ear-cutting scene, Blue Velvet, Basement Jaxx's Where's Your Head At video, Candyman, EastEnders for Trevor Morgan, Marathon Man for the tooth drilling scene, Goodfellas for the "how am I funny", The Others, Doctor Who - opening credits, Night of the Living Dead, Final Destination, The Birds, The Sixth Sense, Doctor Who - Daleks, Nosferatu, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for the Child Catcher, Dracula: Prince of Darkness, The Wicker Man for the climax, Tricky Dicky (Richard the Killer) on Coronation Street, Carry On Screaming, Poltergeist, The Silence of the Lambs, Carrie, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The League of Gentlemen Christmas Special, The Wizard of Oz for the Witch and Flying Monkeys, Scream, Hellraiser, 28 Days Later, The Thing, An American Werewolf in London, Se7en, The X-Files, The Evil Dead, Psycho, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Omen, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, The Blair Witch Project, Alien, Jaws, The Exorcist, and winner The Shining ("Here's Johnny!"). With contributions by John Carpenter, Wes Craven, Shelley Duvall, Robert Englund, William Friedkin, the late great Janet Leigh, Kyle MacLachlan, Steven Spielberg and Sigourney Weaver. Outstanding!
