Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Gloria shakes her butt at a male hippo.

Butt of Male Hippo prominately sticks out and is commented on by a female hippo. "Who're your friends? Or is that your butt?"

Male monkey kisses Male Penguin on the mouth. Not passionately.

Penguin looks under table to check if monkeys were male

Violence & Gore

A hunter shoots a lion off a moving truck. We do not see the bullet hit the lion. The lion falls from the truck as if dead but we quickly see that it is only slightly hurt. (There is a small amount of blood).

One animal slaps another after failing to hypnotize it.

A couple of scenes feature lions fighting as part of leadership challenges and other rituals.

One human character frequently engages in fights (mostly slapping) with various animals. In one scene, a group of animals hit her with a car; she is flung some distance, gets up and manually realigns her neck.

A shark leaves the ocean and, over the course of several scenes, pursues another animal in an attempt to eat it. The shark later falls into an active volcano. (We do not see it hit the lava, but we do hear it.)

Profanity

"How in the 'Hello' are they going to fix the plane?"

None, but one of the chimps has what looks like a spark plug in his mouth like a cigarette.

There is a long and drawn-out scene in which the airplane is falling, and it seems as if it will crash land. At the last second, the penguin flying the plane pulls up on the steering wheel and the plane levels out.
