Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Contains some innuendo throughout, much of which is unlikely to be understood by young children.

Bart's genitals (non-graphic) are shown as he skateboards naked across Springfield (with a sight gag featuring a series of obstacles concealing his penis, culminating in his penis being exposed momentarily), Bart is then thrown into view of Ned Flanders, who yells "Penis!" but Bart's penis is blocked by a french fry.

Later in the film, Homer and Marge are undressed by various animals in a scene parodying Disney movies. As Homer and Marge embrace off-screen, the animals stare at them in horror.

An Inuit woman swings her large breasts to show Homer the correct way to go. He references her as "boob lady".

Two policemen jump out of a car at Marge, but then start kissing passionately.

None of the above is remotely shocking, just comical.

Violence & Gore

Contains mild animated violence throughout the movie.

In a cartoon within the movie, a character is blown apart by an explosion (no blood shown).

Martin stands up to a bunch of bullies and throws a garbage can lid at them, hitting them in one shot.

A robot shoots itself in the head.

Homer gets a hammer caught in his eye.

Homer gets hit by a wrecking ball and is hit between a giant rock and "a hard place"

A penguin in a video game is shot by a walrus.

Before Russ Cargill is about to shoot Homer and Bart, Maggie pushes a rock/boulder on his head, assuming that he is killed.

No blood is shown.

Mostly the violence is slapstick and intended to be funny.

A man is killed by a giant shard of glass, hitting him in the crotch.

A man is crushed by the corner of a glass dome. No blood or violence is shown, he is just comically flattened.

A large, glass dome explodes and shards of glass (big and small) rain down on the citizens of Springfield.

Profanity

Mild language: use of ass, hell, and goddamn, and in a silo full of pig feces, its written name is "Pig Crap".

Homer gestures with his "middle" fingers (despite the fact that Simpsons characters only have four fingers).

In one scene, a character briefly inhales a bong.

Bart is seen drinking whiskey, but only momentarily.

Characters can be seen drinking or smoking throughout the film.

There are some domestic/relationship themes that may confuse or upset young children. Some scenes contain a mild sense of threat. The band Green Day drowns in a contaminated lake. In a dream sequence, Homer is torn apart by trees. There is a very funny song called "Spider Pig" played in random parts throughout the movie, the one which isn't sung by Homer is kind of creepy. The concept of forever being imprisoned may offend or terrify some viewers.

The scene where Marge, Bart, and Lisa are captured by Russ Cargill may be a little intense.
