This great 15-minute action movie proves that independent shorts don't always have to feature two people talking in an apartment. Shot in only 4 days entirely in front of a green screen, Prey Alone exemplifies the smart way to utilize computer graphics in the absence of a big budget. With only a few actors and a handful of props, writer/directors Stephen St. Leger and James Mather told the high octane story of a fugitive who keeps evading the government. As the furious action unfolds, an interrogation between an inmate and an Nsa agent reveals the true nature of the film's setting. Hint: the title is an anagram of the twist.
