  • Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): In the competitor magazine's article on Sophie Maes that Sidney reads, the word "epitome" is spelled "epitomy."

  • Crew or equipment visible: During a scene in which Sidney and Alison are walking along a street in New York together, in one of the shots a shadow of the camera equipment and operator is clearly visible.

  • Revealing mistakes: When "La Dolce Vita" is playing in the park, there are no subtitles. Since the film is in Italian, it would be very odd to show the film to an English-speaking language without translation.

  • Errors in geography: Sidney's limo drives westbound past B.B. King's but the next shot is of Times Square which is to the east.

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: When the group is leaving the first party, Eleanor Johnson talks to Sophie Maes before getting into the car. The shot then turns back to Sophie with her saying "Yea" when clearly her lips were not even moving.

  • Crew or equipment visible: When Sidney is looking at Lawrence from inside an office, the camera and lighting kit is clearly visible in the reflection of the glass while trying to create Sidney's point of view.

  • Continuity: At the stately home, when Sydney says, 'Do you want another drink?' and she says, 'Yeah, I'll have a half of lager,' he gets up and touches her on the shoulder, with his fingers pointing down the front of her dress. In the next shot, with his hand still on her shoulder, his fingers are now pointing down her back.

  • Incorrectly regarded as goofs: When we first meet Sophie Maes (Megan Fox), she says she is a vegetarian and would never wear fur, yet we see her at the party towards the end of the movie wearing what looks like a real fur shawl. However, this is most likely a testament to how movie stars sell out their beliefs when they become famous.

  • Revealing mistakes: In the opening crane-down shot at the open air party (about half way through the movie) you can see a tiny "hair in the gate" at the bottom-center of the screen. It is still there in the subsequent shot, but has obviously been removed in time for the next one.

  • Revealing mistakes: A printed interview with Sophie Maes says "psychophants" instead of "sycophants."

  • Audio/visual unsynchronized: At the stately home, the band resumes playing after Sidney Young falls off the top of the stage's wooden frame. In a following shot facing the band, the keyboardist removes his right playing hand from the keyboard placing it in his lap with his left hand prior to the last keyboard chord being played.
