Continuity: When the tourists are hiking the morning after being robbed, Pru wears white flip-flops for a moment. No one else is wearing shoes.
Continuity: When the group arrives at the beach, Amy has left her bikini top at her last destination and must wear a T-shirt to swim. However, when the group is later trekking through the jungle, she clearly has a bikini top on.
Continuity: During the swimming scene after Alex is shot escaping from Zamora, you can clearly see no blood or wound of any kind on either of his hands. After they leave the water, he bandages a wound to his left hand.
Plot holes: Kiko never tells Alex his name, but Alex introduces him as "Kiko" to his sister, Bea.
Continuity: After Bea stabs the kidnapper with the hiragana tattoo on his right shoulder (the one that hunts with the arrows) we see him sink to the bottom of the cave. However, there is no tattoo on his shoulder anymore.
Audio/visual unsynchronized: At the end of the movie, a Cessna Caravan pulls up and shuts its engine down. The sound is that of a piston engine and not the Caravans own turbine engine. The same piston engine can be heard as the aircraft takes off in a later scene.
Revealing mistakes: When Liam is chasing two boys through the town, he is walking along a street when one of the boys steps out from behind a bush and throws a rock at his head. Although the sound of an impact is heard, the rock can be clearly seen sailing just past the back of Liam's head.
Continuity: When Liam is chasing two boys through the town, one of the boys throws a rock that strikes Liam's head. The next shot, if viewed using very slow motion, shows the rock flying towards Liam's arm, which he then holds as he continues to chase the boys.
Boom mic visible: In the scene where the group arrives at the house and Alex is snooping around, Alex attempts to open some locked glass doors from the outside. As he peers in, a brief reflection of a boom mic can be seen just above his head.
Continuity: There are several scenes where Kiko has emerged from the water and is immediately seen to be dry. hair dry and no water drops on his body. Even in the scene where he is finally shot, his upper torso and hair are completely dry after he supposedly just came up from the underwater cave.
Continuity: After Kiko busts his head open and is being repaired at the evil Doctor's house, he goes wild and lays down for the evening to heal. When he gets up, he is completely composed and acts as though nothing ever happened. Even his injured head has healed as there is no scar or bandage.
