Santa Claus is feeling well and dying to see you.

A bunch of kids find a woman dressed as Santa Claus stuck at the bottom of a well, it turns out that she's a robber and the kids eventually come up with a plant to get the stolen money from her and make themselves rich. However, all does not go well and then things take a distinct zombie-ish turn in the second half.

Decent performances from it's mostly young cast, a fun storyline and almost wall to wall nods to the best of the 80s (if by best you mean Ghostbusters, The Karate Kid, The Goonies and V and, frankly, who doesn't?) make this film (well . . . episode, I suppose) an easy watch.

Like a "heist gone wrong" movie in places too, with the kids taking part instead of adults. Most of the acting was excellent, the film within a film ("Zombie Invasion") was well made in that classic schlocky style, and things never slowed down for too long IMO. Overall, a decent and fun little watch.
