Just a horrible show in every respect

There was never any logical reason for this garbage dump of a television show to ever hit the airwaves. I have never been so disappointed with a TV show as I have with Terminal City. It just seems that Canadian made TV is doomed to suck - there are exceptions, of course, but Terminal City isn't one.

The only explanation I can think of to explain why this show is such a mess is that the writers were all high when typing it up. Maybe in their drug induced fantasies the words they were typing made sense and formed a coherent narrative, but on screen they sure do not. It's a decent premise, I suppose, but the makers of Terminal City do their best to circumvent that.

Let me explain. Here is what I don't like about the series:

There are scenes that don't make any sense at all, or if they do, they don't add anything to the episode. The characters always seem to be fighting for NO REASON. The actors are as good as they can be with the material, so they all suck. The musical score is all most nonexistent, and when it does pop up, it's grating. The character relationships are constantly changing without prompting and don't make any sense in or out of context at any time. The dialogue is stupid, and in its attempt to sound (at least I think this is what they were going for) "deep" or "meaningful" it just comes out hokey and contrived. I don't care about a single one the characters, because they don't do anything that would inspire such feelings, either good or bad. The show does really pointless things to fill time. Conversations that should be about two minutes long are stretched into really annoying fifteen minute scenes. Every character must have a storyline, despite it coming out of nowhere and being completely irrelevant.

And here is what I do like about the series:

It's over.

I did my best, I really did. I tried to like it. I wanted to like it. But after two and a half episodes I was ready to rip my hair out... so I did. It was a welcome relief from the pain of watching Terminal City.
