- [crying]
- Amy Davidson: I just think that John was an angel, and I feel lucky now, because I feel like he's going to be with me for the rest of my life.
- Paul Reiser: I think the best way to pay a tribute to John and for the people who care about John, should do 2 things: Do something really nice for somebody, and do something really goofy. You know, just stick your tounge out at the kid in the car next to you and I think that would make John happy.
- Martin Short: John was the kind of person, that if you spent 2 minutes with him, you felt as if you'd known him for about 20 years.
- [Talking about Three's Company]
- Jason Alexander: It wasn't the most classy or sophisticated material in the world. But that just goes to show you how good he was.
- Henry Winkler: I remember before he got sent home, he said he thought he had food poisoning. Then at about 11:45pm I got a phone call saying that John passed away.
- William H. Macy: I was driving in my car and I heard someone yell "I loved you in 'Fargo'" I look over across and it's John Ritter. I said, "I loved you in 'Sling Blade.'" He said, "It's a driveby compliment," and he drove away. I remember thinking to myself, "I wish I could come up with funny things like that."
- Flody Suarez: I don't think anybody walks away from this, thinking anything but, "Oh my God, I got to work with John Ritter. I got to work with this guy and he was so good to me."
- Connie Sellecca: Whenever John walked into or room, or when he walked onto a set, he lit up the room.
