Toby Jones plays Truman Capote in the second film in as many years to explore the drama behind the research and writing of Capote's great "nonfiction novel" In Cold Blood. Sandra Bullock plays his pal and assistant Nell Lee Harper (soon to be famous as the author of "To Kill a Mockingbird") and Daniel Craig plays convicted murderer Perry Smith, whose growing relationship with Capote becomes focus of the film. Directed and written by Douglas McGrath, it co-stars Peter Bogdanovich, Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, Gwyneth Paltrow, Isabella Rossellini, Juliet Stevenson, and Sigourney Weaver.
