Niagara Falls, Zion & Bryce
Until individual episodes are listed here on this title page, I'll have to limit this to two shows I have been lucky to see - as of this writing - They involve tours of Niagara Falls on the border of Western New York State and Canada the beautiful Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon, both in southern Utah.
Since I live only 25 miles from the Falls, I could go on and on about the area.....so I won't. I will say this: I've never seen Niagara Falls look this awesome on a television set! Wow, this HD Getaways series gives you incredible pictures! These wonderful scenic areas look spectacular in high-def, and the camera-work on this series couldn't be better. They give you the subject matter from all angles. We get a number of above-ground (low airplane) shots of the two places as well as seeing several hiking exhibitions in the Utah places or the down on the rocks at the Falls, or at the Maid Of Mist boat ride. We also get some history of the places.
After it's all said and done, the viewer certainly has felt he or she as almost been to these great places..Of course, they can edit thousands of hours of footage and show the areas to their best with sunlight from dawn to dusk, but so what? We wind up being winners, being able to view these great pictures.
If you want to see some tremendous scenery and you are fortunate to have an HD hookup, you won't want to miss this "travel show." I hope to see others
