The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

A man and a woman kiss and caress each other while lying on a large web. A man and a woman kiss in a few scenes. A woman kisses Spider-Man while another woman watches and becomes angry.

A man and a woman dance seductively together (he is apparently trying to make another woman jealous).

A woman wears a low-cut dress that reveals cleavage and her bare back while on stage. A woman wears a low-cut top that reveals cleavage. We see a man bare-chested and wearing tight-fitting boxer shorts.

A man struts along a sidewalk, admiring women as they walk by, and women look at him with either interest or bewilderment. A man and a woman flirt.

Violence & Gore

Peter and the New Goblin fight in mid-air. It's very intense. No blood is shown.

The Sandman and Spider-Man fight. Very little violence. No blood is shown.

A man is flung onto a car. The glass breaks. No blood is shown.

Peter and the New Goblin fight. More intense than the first one. Blood is constant.

Peter slaps Mary Jane by accident.

At the end of the movie, everyone is fighting. Pretty intense. Spiderman held down by throat by one villain and pounded repeatedly by the other. Fleeting glimpse of blood pouring from Venom's arms when Goblin intervenes.

There is a flashback showing Flint Marko shoot Uncle Ben. Blood is shown on the ground.

Peter slams Edward Brock Jr. up against a wall.

New Goblin, A.K.A. Harry, is stabbed through the body, and he dies. Violent, but very emotional.

Profanity

3 anatomical terms (2 that sound like crude anatomical references when a man with a French accent mispronounces Parker), 2 mild obscenities, name-calling (nerd, crook), 7 religious exclamations.

A man drinks alcohol in a few scenes, and a man orders champagne (he is not shown drinking it).

The New Goblin, Sandman, and Venom might be unsettling or scary to some younger kids

The end scene with Harry dying is very, very sad.
