Sex & Nudity
-
- Several flashback scenes show romantic moments of a soldier and his wife or girlfriend before the war, including kissing, but no sex. In one of these scenes the woman tells her boyfriend, "Carry this night with you," implying sex. In another scene a man is shirtless and his wife wears a negligee of some sort, but it's not particularly revealing--no cleavage visible.
Violence & Gore
-
- The goriest scene (near the middle of the movie) has a very bloody soldier in intense pain. Another character has a flashback to this scene later in the movie. Otherwise, the war violence is moderately graphic. Soldiers' bodies jerk as they are hit by bullets, but you don't see severed body parts or blood spraying or anything like that.
Profanity
-
- 1 (!) s-word.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- One cigarette is partially smoked. Some soldiers drink alcohol.
