Bring a knife to a gunfight !

This Xbox exclusive Unreal title brings a new element of game play to the proceedings, 3rd-person melee combat ! And Epic Games deserve much credit for not only attempting to keep the series fresh with a bold new move, but also for improving on what was already a successful formula. Thanks to the melee combat the action is much more up close and personal, while the classic 1st person shooting works as great as ever. Playing the game alone gives you loads of hidden factors to unlock (such as additional characters, mutators, challenges etc.) but playing the game with friends or over Xbox Live is where UC2 truly shines.

Undoubtly, UC2 brings a much needed innovation to an already fantastic genre. 9 out of 10.

BEST SHOOTER GAME EVER it's so good, it's unreal

Choosing a new emperor? Cool.

No, seriously. Having this game only a few hours, I'm into it like a fly is on a fresh heap. I'm not kidding. This game is the first serious shooter ever to keep me awake for over two minutes. Counterstrike had me snore, Halo (both of 'em) was a complete drag, ... Then I found the Unreal games. They weren't serious, but damn they were fun.

The other shooter to hold me was TimeSplitters: Future Perfect. That was my absolute number one until today. Now, my number one is Unreal Championship 2. The graphics are Unreal (no pun... Okay, so pun me) and the world it portrays is overwhelming. I knew there was a story connected in the Unreal Series, but it wasn't shown in the Unreal Tournaments or in the first Unreal Championship. And, in all honesty, the first Unreal Championship was kind of disappointing.

I had bought an Xbox only for training in shooters and defeating a friend of mine. I swore and swore to defeat him in an Xbox shooter. Then came the mêlée-gore-fest that is Unreal Championship 2. The possibilities, the giant arena's, the mutators, the bots, the weapons, the views (first person and third person), the game-play, the whole package... Well, let me just say that the title 'Unreal' is a title this game deserves. Now, my friend, Victory Shall Be Mine! It gets a full 100 from me.

If you've got an Xbox and love to frag, but you haven't got this game, you're way behind, man. This is the future. It's got story mode and a massive multi-player/challenges mode. This one has it all! It even has bikes that can disappear, and hot babes with big guns. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK?!?!
