  • Continuity: The umbrella in Charlie's drink jumps about between shots.

  • Continuity: When Vic shoots the chest he points the gun at the passenger side of the chest. When they pull the chest out of the car the bullet hole is on the driver side of the chest.

  • Errors in geography: Bill's car has a Missouri license plate (note the "Show-Me State" at the lower edge) with 7 letters (TOP DAWG). Missouri personalized plates have a maximum of 6 characters (plus a space, apostrophe or hyphen).

  • Errors in geography: When Charlie is in the convenience store buying the toys for his children, a cooler can be seen with wine in it. Kansas only sells wine in liquor stores.

  • Continuity: When Bill Guerrard is shown in Renata's office at first, his suit jacket is blue. But after getting shot in the face, he is seen on the floor and his suit jacket is black. Then when Bill Guerrard gets up after not being killed, his suit jacket is blue again.

  • Continuity: In the scene with Vic and Charlie in the restaurant after Charlie drops and breaks his phone in the restaurant, and it is then intact/broken in subsequent shots.

  • Errors in geography: The Mercedes Benz has a Kansas license plate on the front. Front license plates are only issued on personalized plates in Kansas. And the format for license plates is three letters a space and three numbers. The tag combines numbers and letters.

  • Continuity: Near the end of the film, with Renata taped to the chair, a rear shot shows Bill reaching for a bottle of whiskey and a glass. From the rear shot you can hear him pouring whiskey into the glass. As the shot changes to frontal, he pours again into an empty glass.

  • Continuity: Near the beginning of the film as Charlie is leaving Vic's car, he goes to grab the bag of money while holding an umbrella in his right hand, in the next subsequent shot he is holding the umbrella in his left hand, and then in the following shot it is back in his right hand.

  • Continuity: When Pete gets dragged out of the bar by the bartender's boyfriend, his pants get ripped in the back. In the subsequent shot, there is no tear.

  • Continuity: SPOILER: At the pier, Roy shoots Vic while inside the trunk. He then shoots out the lock and breaks open the trunk. Vic shoots Roy once more and the dock collapses throwing both into the water. The trunk is once again locked and floating with Vic holding onto it.
