In lieu of bread crumbs, last night’s Thanksgiving-themed Gossip Girl was stuffed with pregnancies, elevator grab-ass, and a really inappropriate onesie. Still, I’m sure the Pilgrims would have enjoyed this Upper East Side feast; there had to be at least a few teen soap fans on the Mayflower. The big entrée was Serena’s relationship with the most boring man in New York, aka Tripp Vanderbilt. I honestly don’t get why Serena would choose this dude over Nate. (S03E11) It's Thanksgiving time on the Upper East Side, and you know what that means? Loads of drama and awkward situations. This special episode also marks the return of a few of the show's mothers, including Jessica's mother, Blair's mother, and Lily's mother CeCe.
Sadly, due to a prior engagement, I will not be able to offer you a full review of the episode in due time. Taylor Momsen Said Furious With Leighton Meester Over Music

Rumor has it, Taylor Momsen is jealous of her "Gossip Girl" co-star Leighton Meester. The 16-year-old is said furious because The CW has used Leighton's songs, "Good Girls Go Bad" and "Somebody To Love", in two episodes in season 3 of the teen drama series, but the network has never asked to play any of Taylor's singles.
"Taylor is not happy that 'Gossip Girl' has been playing Leighton's music on the show, and they have never asked to play any of her songs," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "It's creating a lot of tension on set." Commenting on the matter, a representative for the network said, "The show will support Taylor and her music when the time is right, but her music is not ready yet."
Of the possible reason why the network used the 23-year-old's tracks, an insider claimed her music's genre is more suitable for the show. »

'Gossip Girl' 3.12 Preview: Major Accident

The last episode of "Gossip Girl" airing this year will witness Serena hurt in a car accident. In "The Debarted", a serious car accident rocks the Upper East Side on the anniversary of Bart Bass' death. During the same time, Chuck wrestles with an issue from the past.
Meanwhile, Dan and Vanessa attempt to navigate their newly complicated friendship. When Jenny is accused of beating up one of her classmates, Eric is faced with a tough dilemma.
"The Debarted" is slated to air next week on December 7. After that, "Gossip" will take a six-week worth of break to give the time slot to newbie "Life Unexpected". The third season of "Gossip" is expected to commence on March 8.

Rihanna Gears Up for the Shooting of 'Hard' Video

It won't be long until Rihanna hit the set of the music video for her second single "Hard". The 21-year-old singer reportedly is going to shoot for the video within the next few days, and she has been spotted arriving at Lax airport with her Bff Melissa on Monday, November 30 after a flight from London.
The filming of the music video will be done before she goes to New York City for JetBlue concert held on December 3. According to Just Jared, director Anthony Mandler who has directed many of Rihanna's previous videos will not serve behind the lens for this music video. Instead of him, helmer Melina Matsoukas will take on the role behind the camera.

In commemoration of World AIDS Day 2009 on Tuesday, December 1, "Twilight Saga" actresses Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed show their support for Africa by participating in a new PSA campaign called as "Coming Together as One". The campaign aims to mobilize young people to fight against poverty and preventable disease, such as AIDS, TB, and malaria.
Joining them to take part in the movement are their "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" co-stars, Kellan Lutz and Jackson Rathbone. Artists from a wide range of TV and big screen projects team up to star in a new public service announcement (PSA), which is aimed to mobilize young people in the fight against poverty and preventable disease like AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, particularly in Africa. The campaign is launched in partnership with global advocacy and campaigning organization One, which is co-founded by U2 rocker Bono.
"The Twilight Saga's New Moon" stars Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone, as well as "Gossip Girl" actors Leighton Meester, Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick are some of the celebrities featured in the PSA, called "Coming Together as One". Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley turned red with embarrassment at a recent fashion party when he failed to recognise top designer John Galliano and asked him who he was.
The actor accompanied his girlfriend and TV co-star Blake Lively to the stylish event, but he was left hanging his head in shame at the end of the night after his big fashion blunder.

Not everyone was happy with the CW schedule for the start of 2010 - some because of One Tree Hill's six-month hiatus and others because there won't be a new Gossip Girl episode until March 8. But central to the CW's schedule shakeup agenda is a new drama that looks promising and, dare we say it, not like the crop of shows that are currently airing on the cable network.
Life UneXpected looks like it doesn't have the scandal and glitz of Gossip Girl and the intense drama of One Tree Hill, but a refreshing, kind of warm humor and ambiance of something in between, something that you'd expect from ABC Family or the old WB. Actor Penn Badgley dreams of following in the footsteps of his Gossip Girl co-stars Leighton Meester and Taylor Momsen and making the transition into the music world.
The star reveals he has already started writing his own songs and would love to show off his musical talents on the stage - although he doesn't like the idea of being the centre of attention.
But he insists his work would have a more classical sound, compared to Meester and Momsen's pop/rock songs.
He tells America's InStyle magazine, "My dream is to play live shows with a small orchestra - strings, horns, an organ. I'd play keyboards and guitar and sing. But I wouldn't be the frontman."
Badgley already has one fan of his music - his Gossip Girl co-star and real life girlfriend Blake Lively, who served as his muse for one particular song.
