Adam Sandler is an overworked, stressed-out architect and family man who thinks he's getting everything he dreamed of when he's given a universal remote control that allows him to control his world, fast forwarding through the tedious obligations until he winds up skipping through their entire lives. At least he has the option to watch with commentary. Kate Beckinsale is his wife, Christopher Walken the loopy scientist in the "Beyond" section of Bed, Bath and Beyond who hands Sandler the magic remote, and David Hasselhoff, Henry Winkler, Julie Kavner, and Sean Astin co-star. Frank Coraci directs.
