- As stated by the director in several interviews, the movie was shot only on Sundays, due to its small budget.
- Because of Chile's newborn cinematographic industry there's a few number of professional actors. Since the child actors in the movie were non-professional, the director worked with them for 7 months prior to the shooting.
- The book that Gonzalo's mother's friend gives to him is "The Lone Ranger", the story of a man who befriends an Indian.
