- TriviaRegarding the famous use of a rolled-up magazine as a weapon, fight coordinator Jeff Imada explained, "I would go around the set after it had been dressed and get an idea of what would be lying around and how it could be used as a weapon. I came up with the idea of using a rolled up magazine and had to convince a few people that would actually be a functional weapon. I had to demonstrate it by rolling it up and hitting it on the table to show how hard the impact would be. And also Matt [Damon] and Marton [Csokas] verified that the magazine would actually hurt because they'd be hitting each other in the arm before takes and would actually get bruises from it."
- GoofsThe banners carried by the protesters contain several spelling errors, including "Meer" (ocean) instead of "Mehr" (more). This is inspired from a real incident where the Germans protested against education budget cuts by putting spelling errors into their banner texts.
- Quotes
Pamela Landy: [over the phone] What if I can't find her?
Jason Bourne: [while watching her through the rifle scope] It's easy. She's standing right next to you.
- Crazy creditsDuring the end credits the Marines are listed as Jarheads.
- Alternate versionsThe NBC TV network version does the usual time and content edits. The most obvious change is Abbott's suicide being shown off-screen with a cut to outside the building and the gunshot sound and audio of Pamela Landy's shock being heard, all contrary to the theatrical version which showed it in more intense detail.

Superior Action Film...
This is a superior action film with the added bonus of good acting by Joan Allen, Matt Damon, and Karl Urban among others. The camera work is amazing.
I especially liked the on-locale settings of Russia and Germany.
Jason Bourne is a walking CIA specimen whom the agency deems to dangerous to live. Not all the facts are known about some mysterious murders in Berlin but Jason Bourne is suspected. You know his idyllic life on a remote island will be blown from the first.
How this all is resolved takes the viewer on a non-stop chase through various foreign countries.
Good flick!
