The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Norma occasionally wears a revealing nightgown. She and Arthur kiss, but this is not a prelude to sexual activity.

A woman's foot is shown in which 4 of her toes have been amputated. It is not gory, and the wound is fully healed, but some who are particularly squeamish may find it disturbing.

Several people suffer from nosebleeds throughout the film. Blood is shown dripping down their faces.

A man violently pushes a young man and shakes him forcefully.

A woman is shown dead with a gunshot to her chest. No bleeding or blood, just the wound through clothing is shown.

Two men in a car are forced to slam on their brakes and come to a stop in the middle of the road. They are hit by a fast-moving truck and their car is smashed into the sidewalk. This results in a death, however no blood or injury to the people inside is seen.

A man kills a woman with a gunshot to the chest. The actual shot is not seen. No blood or gore.

Profanity

Very little to no profanity.

People are seen smoking in several scenes.

People are seen drinking beers and spirits in several scenes in a relaxed party atmosphere.

A man is missing half of his face, and the wound is fairly graphic. Sensitive viewers may find it disturbing.

A couple are forced to make several choices involving themselves and their son, which viewers may find fairly intense.

People are seen to be 'taken over' by an unknown force, which results in them becoming fairly intimidating and taking on a zombie-like appearance, which may be perceived as quite frightening. Their actions can sometimes be very odd and unsettling.

A death scene in the film is fairly emotional and can be quite intense.

The overall sci-fi undertone in the film may disturb some viewers.
