I admit that the only reason I watched the pilot for this show was because it's from some of the same producers as the excellent SMALLVILLE and I wasn't expecting the show to be any good, but after watching the first episode I instantly became hooked. While it's certainly no SMALLVILLE, it still deals with some of the same issues such as teen angst and learning responsibility. The performances in the show are truly something special. Russell Wong, Corey Sevier, and Drew Fuller are the bright spots on the show while the other actors are not bad, just not very memorable. There haven't been any bad episodes yet and I hope the show is picked up for a second season. However, judging by the current ratings I don't think that a second season is in store for the series. If you haven't seen the show, I recommend catching an episode or two before it gets canceled.
