In Mick Foley's 1999 autobiography "Have A Nice Day: A Tale of Blood and Sweatsocks," he wrote about the Cactus Jack-Big Van Vader (Leon White) Texas Death Match, that out of frustration with how WCW was treating him, his intention was to apply a Sleeper Hold on Vader so Vader would fall back on him so he could be injured and cash out his insurance policy and retire. While Cactus did apply a Sleeper Hold on Vader and Vader did fall back on him and injure him, his body had become so used to taking abnormal amounts of pain that the injury would have been insufficient to cash out his policy.
