Blindside after blindside, multiple botched idol plays, one epic meltdown. Season 46 of Survivor has been heating up faster than an ember lighting Kenzie’s hair on fire.
With just three episodes remaining (the three-hour finale event airs Wednesday, May 22 at 8/7c on CBS), there’s still plenty of game left to unfold as Ben, Maria, Charlie, Q, Kenzie, Venus and Liz fight, scratch and claw their way to the million dollars and the title of Sole Survivor.

Dylan Gossett is well aware that his career has been ridiculously fast-tracked.
In just one year’s time, the 25-year-old Austin, Texas, native went from half-seriously uploading songs to social media to becoming one of country music’s most in-demanded live draws. On the strength of a pair of EPs — including Songs in the Gravel that dropped in March — Gossett has consistently played to capacity crowds in the U.S. and abroad. WrestleMania 40 is nearly here, and the milestone event is looking to live up to its “Xl” billing. Across two nights, WWE’s biggest stars will compete for glory, championships, and, perhaps, the honor of participating in one of the greatest matches in WrestleMania history. If the quality of recent WrestleMania shows is any indication, it should be a lot of fun.
Of course, none of that actually matters much if you don’t know how and when to watch WrestleMania 40 in the first place. So, here’s (hopefully) everything you need to know about the upcoming show.
WrestleMania 40: Start Time and Dates
As has been the case with recent WrestleMania shows, WrestleMania 40 will be a two-night event.
WrestleMania 40: Night 1 will start on April 6 at 7 Pm Et, 6 Pm Ct, and 4 Pm Pt. WrestleMania 40 Night 2 will start on April 7 at 7 Pm Et, 6 Pm Ct, and 4 Pm Pt. The pre-show for...

U2 wrapped the inaugural residency at Las Vegas’ $2.3 billion technical and visual marvel Sphere this weekend, closing out a 40-show run that started in September. Fittingly, the legendary band did so by bringing things full circle.
The shows commemorated one of U2’s most successful records, the chart-topping 1991 release Achtung Baby, played in its entirety with selected tracks from other U2 efforts over the years. To further honor the album, U2 bandmates Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Bram van den Berg (sitting in during the residency for an ailing Larry Mullen Jr.) welcomed Achtung Baby producer Daniel Lanois to the stage Saturday night to play guitar and sing backup on the track “One.”
“There would be no Achtung Baby without Daniel Lanois,” Bono said in welcoming him up the back stairs with a request to the audience. “Show him your light,” and they did by holding up smartphone flashbulbs in a beautiful scene.

Thanks to films like Rambo, Rocky, and The Expendables, actor Sylvester Stallone has built quite a ‘tough guy’ reputation for himself, and rightly so. But what happens when someone like him ends up having daughters? He becomes a softie, and even Sylvester Stallone couldn’t save himself from going down that path!
Sylvester Stallone in The Expendables

The WWE has invited a wide spectrum of celebrities to help commemorate ‘The Showcase of the Immortals’ since the first WrestleMania in 1985. Events have featured a diverse range of celebrities, including Donald Trump, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Muhammad Ali. Sylvester Stallone may be brought to WrestleMania Xl, the 40th edition of the supershow, which is set for Philadelphia on April 6 and 7, according to WrestleVotes.
There is interest in working with Stallone “in some form”, according to the report, and WWE sources “hope” that the partnership will work out. However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the actor informed WWE of a scheduling conflict, suggesting that this optimism may have been misplaced. Until he can or wishes to end the conflict, the actor will not attend WrestleMania.

WWE is allegedly eyeing Hollywood legend and Rocky actor Sylvester Stallone for Wrestlemania 40. Sylvester Stallone has been one of the most rugged-looking actors of the previous decades and has not been a stranger to entertainment fighting, with his role in the Rocky franchise being the foundation of his stardom.

Sylvester Stallone partnering up with WWE and featuring in Wrestlemania 40 would be a novel introduction to the franchise. However, given the physicality that is required for Wrestlemania, and WWE events in general, Stallone would find himself in a lot of danger, something that routinely affects a lot of players in the ring, which could be compounded by his advanced age.

The tranquil world of Hall & Oates was rocked this week by news that the longtime duo are in the midst of a nasty legal battle. The exact details are sealed, but we do know that Daryl Hall was granted a temporary restraining order against John Oates. There’s also a trademark dispute of some sort. (Representatives for both artists have not returned e-mails from Rolling Stone seeking comment.)
This is shocking on several levels. Hall & Oates are one of the few duos in music history that seemingly always got along.

Just when you thought it was safe to commit elaborate crimes, Kenneth Branagh's Hercule Poirot has returned. With his sharp mind and even sharper mustache, Branagh's take on Agatha Christie's famous detective first appeared in 2017's "Murder on the Orient Express" and returned last year in "Death on the Nile." Both were directed by Branagh and written by Michael Green, and that creative team reunited for "A Haunting in Venice," which is based on Christie's novel "The Hallowe'en Party."
This time around, Hercule Poirot is retired and living in self-imposed exile in Venice, when a séance and a murder pull him back into his old ways -- though this time with a potentially supernatural twist. Audiences seem intrigued by this horror-tinged departure from the two previous movies, with Deadline reporting that "A Haunting in Venice" grossed $5.3 million on Friday (including Thursday previews) and is expected to gross around $14 million over its opening weekend.

Soon, fans of the Haunted Mansion won't have to take a trip to Disneyland to experience a scary ride. During the Walt Disney Studios Showcase, a presentation at this year's Destination D23, it was revealed that "Haunted Mansion" will soon be coming to home media beginning on October 4.
"Haunted Mansion" is based on the eponymous theme park ride, a staple of Disneyland since 1969. The film, directed by Justin Simien ("Dear White People"), features single mom Gabbie (Rosario Dawson) moving into the haunted Gracey Manor in New Orleans with her son. Soon, they run afoul of the ghosts, such as the Hatbox Ghost (Jared Leto) and the decapitated Madame Leota (Jamie Lee Curtis), now imprisoned in a crystal ball. So, they recruit a team of priests, academics, and psychics to exorcise the Manor.
"Haunted Mansion" coming to home media in October sounds like Disney learning its lesson from releasing the film theatrically in July.

Apologies to André Bazin, Pauline Kael, and Andrew Sarris, but Roger Ebert was unquestionably the most influential film critic of the cinema's first century. In fact, unless the media landscape is drastically altered over the next few years, he may also wind up being the last film critic who ever truly mattered.
I do not mean this as a put-down of my colleagues. If you actually read film criticism nowadays, you know that there's never been a more thrillingly diverse assortment of voices in this too-cluttered arena. Manohla Dargis, Justin Chang, Scott Tobias, Angelica Jade Bastién, and Bilge Ebiri are must-reads in this house, and I could name a few dozen more who are reliably incisive and original in their thinking. I don't have time to read all of the critics I respect, which is both a frustrating and good thing.
But be honest, do you actually read film criticism nowadays?...

For those keeping track at home, we've officially hit the "Utter nonsense" portion of the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes -- and, as has been the case since the start, there's nobody else to blame but the studios. Their representatives, the AMPTP, have thus far resorted to some of the most underhanded and casually cruel methods to maintain their iron grip on the billions of dollars of profits generated by the film and television industries. From obstructing picket lines and creating unsafe environments for those on strike to unmasking themselves as straight-up supervillains by threatening to literally starve writers out and force them to lose their homes before coming back to the bargaining table, the studios seem intent on proving that there are simply no depths they'll refuse to go to.
With such scorched-earth methods clearly dictating the overall negotiating policy of the studios, one would assume that this has...

From his 1993 debut album Doggystyle, to his 2022 collab album with E-40, Too $hort, and Ice Cube, there are few artists whose music spans generations the way Snoop Dogg does. Of all the popular older shows, "M*A*S*H" is probably the hardest for modern viewers to wrap their heads around. Not only did it go on for eight years longer than the war it was based on, but its finale was watched live by 106 million viewers, or over 60% of all American households. Considering that the recent series finale of "Succession" only brought in an estimated 2.9 million live viewers, this number seems almost impossibly high. Some other huge finales were "Cheers" in 1993 with 84 million viewers, "Seinfeld" in 1998 with 76 million, and "Friends" in 2004 with 66 million.
Of those shows, "M*A*S*H" seems to have stuck around the least in the public consciousness. Everyone still loves Ted Danson, "Friends" had a big resurgence in popularity in 2019, and Netflix bought Seinfeld for $500 million in 2021. While "M*A*S*H" is still referenced a decent amount in pop culture, it sure doesn't seem like Netflix would ever spend $500 million to buy...

New Delhi, April 29 (Ians) Even as the last three years of Covid-pandemic, has among many things, severely affected routine immunisation of children, health experts on Saturday urged the need to catch up on the time lost.
World Immunisation Week, celebrated in the last week of April, aims to highlight the collective action needed to protect people from vaccine-preventable diseases.
An estimated 67 million children missed their routine immunisation, entirely or partially, between 2019 and 2021 including 48 million not receiving any vaccine, according to Unicef’s State of the World’s Children report released last week.
“Fear of exposure, disruption of healthcare services, misinformation, economic challenges and focus on controlling Covid-19, led to a significant decline in vaccination rates for both adults and children,” Nameet Jerath, Senior Consultant, Paediatric Pulmonolgy and Critical Care, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, told Ians.
