"Brasil" or "Brazil" is a Spanish live action short film from 2002, so this one has its 15th anniversary this year. It recently got a bit of attention because the guy who wrote and directed this one was F. Javier Gutiérrez early in his career, the man who is also the director of the new blockbuster movie "Rings". But back to these 18 minutes we have here. This is in Spanish, so you may want to get subtitles, even if the quantity of spoken dialogue is not that much to be honest. It is the story of a man who left his wife because she cheated on him and some time after the break-up he still isn't ready to forgive her, but has other things in mind. It's an okay watch I guess. The constant switch between b&w and color was not necessary and it made the thing slightly more confusing. It was a bit difficult to understand all the scenes and plot anyway, but I forgive a young rising filmmaker under the age of 30 for that. It is still a solid story and the acting wasn't too bad either. The epilogue was kinda fun too. I give this film a thumbs-up and recommend checking it out even if there is not a single second of greatness in here.
