There are times when Ben Stiller seems to own comedy. It.s an odd notion considering the guy.s made some pretty mediocre films (Envy, The Heartbreak Kid). But often enough, he releases something that hits all of the right notes and makes you realize just how talented he truly his (Tropic Thunder, Mystery Men). The dude.s got a grasp on absurdist satire.
That.s why it.s not a surprise to see the video that Movieline has gotten hold of. It.s an exclusive and likely never supposed to be seen video that has Stiller tearing 20th Century Fox a new one, as well as himself. In the video, Stiller takes shots at Fox.s executives, their rich and artistic library of movies (Explosion! Explosion! Wave!), but gives Slumdog Millionaire a pass.

With the release of Harold Ramis' Year One, Jack Black continues his stay as Hollywood's version of "Jack Black." In light of that, Fsr's resident Fat Guy at the Movies Kevin Carr and Resident Devil's Advocate Josh Radde ponder just how far they're willing to let Jack Black go before enough is enough.
Opening Statement (Kevin)
As an avid fan of puns and plays on words, I am proud to recognize that one word in the English language is integral as to why Jack Black must be stopped from making more films.
The word, my friends, is Scat.

Blu-Ray Review: Barry Levinson Wastes Great Ensemble in ‘What Just Happened’

Chicago – They made a movie about Bruce Willis’ beard. “What Just Happened” is yet another head-scratcher from one of the more acclaimed directors of the ’80s and ’90s, Barry Levinson. Like “Envy” and “Man of the Year” before it, Levinson has spit out yet another inert comedy with a great ensemble but no passion, creativity or life to it. A mediocre Blu-Ray presentation does nothing to enhance the film.
Art Linson is one of the most successful and notorious producers in Hollywood. His name is on “Into the Wild,” “Spartan,” “Fight Club,” “Heat,” “Fast Times at Ridgemont High,” and more. He wrote a memoir about his complicated times in Hollywood and adapted his own book into the screenplay for “What Just Happened”.
What Just Happened was released on Blu-Ray on February 24th, 2009.
