Let's get down to it, if you liked Fist of Fury with Donnie, then you should not let this go by. This story is based on the character Jet Li portrayed in "The New Legend of Shaolin" but before his adventures though.
Yen is the son of a famous Kung Fu master whom also works for the Ching Army. The twist is that the father is also the leader of a rebel clan to destroy the Ching Army. He is known as Red Dragon, the leader of the Sun Moon Sect. He and Yen don't see eye to eye on the situation, but Yen doesn't know that his father is the rebel hero.
Yen (Hung Hei-Kung) has a best friend in the series by the name of Chun-Chung, and he befriends a man with incredible strength along the way, but next tragedy strikes all three men as their family and love ones are killed. You can't help but feel sorry for all three of the men, but this also forces them to grow up.
I won't get deep into details, but know that this is a grade A series, Yen also choreographed the fighting, and you can tell that he took great pride in knowing the Yuen family. Again if you like the Fist of Fury series, then this one is a must have.
