Kairi : So, suppose you get to another world. What would you do there?
Riku : Well, I haven't really thought about it. It's just... I've always wondered why we're here on this island. If there are any other worlds out there, why did we end up on this one? And suppose there are other worlds... then ours is just a little piece of something much greater. So we could have just as easily ended up somewhere else, right?
Sora : I don't know.
Riku : Exactly. That's why we need to go out there and find out. Just sitting here won't change a thing. It's the same old stuff. So let's go.

[first lines]
Sora : [narrating] I've been having these weird thoughts lately... like is any of this for real or not?

Sora : Gimme a break, Kairi.
Kairi : Sora, you lazy bum. I knew I'd find you snoozing down here.
Sora : No, no, this big black dream swallowed me up! I couldn't breathe, I couldn't - ow!
Kairi : Have you been dreaming again?
Sora : It wasn't a dream. Or was it? I don't know.
Kairi : Yeah, sure.
Sora : So Kairi, what was it like in your hometown, like where you grew up?
Kairi : I told you before, I don't remember.
Sora : Nothing at all?
Kairi : Nothing.
Sora : Would you ever like to go back?
Kairi : Hmm... Well, I'm happy here. But I wouldn't mind going to see it.
Sora : I would like to see it too, with any other worlds out there. I'd like to see 'em all.
Kairi : So what are you waiting for?

Ansem : [In Riku's body, facing the ocean] Look at this tiny place. To the heart seeking freedom, this island is a prison, surrounded by water. And so, this boy sought to escape his prison, and he opened his heart to darkness.
[Turns toward Sora, changing into Ansem]
Sora : Riku!
Ansem : Don't bother. Your voice can no longer reach him where he is. His heart belongs again to Darkness.

Riku : Sora.
[tosses Sora a paopu fruit]
Riku : You wanted one, didn't you?
Sora : A paopu fruit...
Riku : If two people share one, their destinies become intertwined. They'll remain a part of each other's lives no matter what. C'mon, I know you want to try it.
Sora : What are you talking...
[Riku laughs and Sora throws away the paopu fruit and they ran back to the toward thier boats]

[Sora's party and Riku try vainly to close the Door To Darkness. Then a silhouette appears]
Donald Duck , Goofy : [gasps] Your Majesty!
King Mickey Mouse : [holding up his own Keyblade] Now, Sora! Let's close this door for good!
Sora : But... What'll happen to you two?
King Mickey Mouse : Don't worry. There will always be a door to the light.
Goofy : Sora, you can trust King Mickey.
Riku : Now! They're coming!
King Mickey Mouse : Donald, Goofy, thank you.
[Sora's party shuts the door. Riku watches Sora as he is shut inside the realm of darkness]
Riku : Take care of her.

Sora : Well, I didn't ask for it.
Yuffie : The Keyblade chooses its master. And it chose you.
Squall (Leon) : So tough luck.

Sora : I wonder if I can find Riku and Kairi.
Donald Duck : Of course.
Goofy : [aside] Are you sure?
Donald Duck : [aside] Who knows? But we need him to come with us to help us find the king.

[the trio introduce themselves to one another]
Donald Duck : Donald Duck.
Goofy : Name's Goofy.
Sora : I'm Sora.
Goofy : All for one, one for all.

Sora : Let Pincchio go, Riku!

Sora : Look, I got separated from my friends. Have you seen them?
[Tarzan looks at him, not understanding]
Sora : Friends...
Tarzan : Friends!
Sora : Right, my friends! There's two of 'em. The loud one is Dona...
[Sora pauses, deciding not to mention Donald or Goofy]
Sora : You know what? Never mind. I'm looking for my friends, Riku and Kairi.

Tarzan : Jane!
Jane Porter : Tarzan! Oh, and who is this?
Sora : Uh, hi there. I'm...
Jane Porter : Oh, you speak English! So, then, obviously, you're not related to Tarzan... Are you here to study the gorillas?
Clayton : Highly doubtful.

Sora : Hey wait... What happened to my home - my island? Riku! Kairi...
Squall (Leon) : You know what? I really don't know.

Ansem : All worlds begin in darkness, and all so end. The heart is no different. Darkness sprouts within it, grows, consumes it. Such is its nature. In the end, every heart returns to the darkness whence it came. You see, darkness is the heart's true essence.
Sora : That's not true! The heart may be weak, and sometimes it may even give in. But I've learned that deep down, there's a light that never goes out!
Ansem : So, you have come this far and still you understand nothing. Every light must fade, every heart return to darkness!

Donald Duck : But no frowning, no sad faces. Okay?
Goofy : Yeah! You gotta be funny, like us!
Donald Duck : [Donald shoves his head away] This boat runs on happy faces!
Sora : [downtrodden] ... Happy?

Winnie The Pooh : Think, think, think, think.
Sora : What are you thinking about this time?
Winnie The Pooh : I'm thinking about what to think about.

Riku : [to Maleficent, who is keeled over and gasping for air, having just lost a fight with Sora] Do you need some help?
Sora : [he, Donald, Goofy, and Beast appear] Riku!
Donald Duck : [referring to the object in Riku's hand] Is that -?
Riku : Yes, a keyblade. But unlike yours, mine holds the power to unlock peoples' hearts. Allow me to demonstrate... behold!
[thrusts the keyblade into Maleficent's heart]
Riku : Now, open your heart! Surrender it to the darkness! Become darkness itself!
[withdraws the keyblade]
Maleficent : This is it... ha ha! This power. Darkness. The true darkness!
[turns into a black dragon]

Ariel : [swimming in the cove] Come on, Sebastian!
Sebastian : Ariel, wait! Slow down! Don't leave me behind!
[he encounters Donald floating upside down. He swims behind Ariel]
Ariel : Relax, Sebastian. They don't look like one of them. Right, Flounder?
Flounder : I don't know. There's something weird about them.
Sora : [laughs nervously] What do you mean?
[Ariel swims around them, inspecting them]
Ariel : They do seem... a little different. Where are you from?
Sora : Um, we're from kind of far away. And we're not really used to these waters.
Ariel : Oh, I see.

Ariel : [after defeating Ursula] Tell me, Sora. Your world, what's it like?
Sora : Oh, about that... Sorry for lying to you.
Ariel : [giggles] It's okay. Besides, if you can travel to other worlds, maybe I can, too. So many places I want to see... I know I'll get there someday. I'll find a way somehow.

Jack Skellington : My! That was amazing. Uh, and you are...
Sora : I'm Sora.
Jack Skellington : Well done, Sora! I'd like you to be a part of this year's Halloween.
Sora : What's this heartless doing here?
Jack Skellington : Oh, the heartless came to town just recently. What's frustrating is I can't get them to dance with me. So the doctor and I are trying to improve the guidance system.
[walks over to Dr. Finkelstein]
Jack Skellington : He's quite a genius! Okay, doctor. Let's continue. The ingredients for the heart: Pulse. Emotion.
Dr. Finkelstein : Terror.
Jack Skellington : Fear. Hope and despair. Mix them all together, and we have a heart.
[Dr. Finkelstein heads to pull the lever]

King Triton : [barges into the grotto] Ariel, you've disobeyed me again! I told you not to leave the palace!
[sees the trident diamond and proceeds to take aim with his trident]
Ariel : Daddy, no!
[destroys it with his trident]
Ariel : How could you...
[swims away]
King Triton : [turns to Sora] Young man, you're not from another ocean. You're from another world. Aren't you?
Sora : Huh?
King Triton : Then you must be the key bearer.
Sora : How did you know?
King Triton : You may fool Ariel, but you can't fool me. You don't know your dorsal fin from you tail. As the key bearer, you must already know... One must not meddle in the affairs of other worlds.
Sora : Of course I know that, but...
King Triton : You have violated this principle. The key bearer shatters peace and brings ruin.
Goofy : Aw, Sora's not like that.
King Triton : I thank you for saving my daughter. But there is no room in this ocean for you or your key.
