This is one of the two featurettes on the Special Edition DVD of Delicatessen. It consists solely of behind the scenes footage, in a sort of fly on the wall fashion. The downside to that approach is very evident here; apart from what we can determine from what we see, this does not convey any information. There's not a single interview to be found, and this really does not offer anywhere near as much insight as the commentary track, even if you picked a part at random of the same length as this, 14 minutes. This is well-paced, and certainly well-edited. Nothing feels just thrown in, and there are worthwhile things in this. All of the shot material looks good, there are no discombobulating sudden changes in quality or such. The flubbed takes and such are amusing enough, and you do get some idea of how they achieved certain effects and the like. As everything else on the disc, this is in French but subtitled to English. There's little offensive in this, apart from a tad of mild to moderately strong language, as far as I can tell. I recommend this to anyone who wants to know more about the film. 6/10
