During the live broadcast of the opening bout between Goldust and Brian Pillman, commentator Jim Ross stated that this could possibly be Pillman's last match, on account that there was a stipulation that if Goldust won the match Pillman would leave the WWF. Although Pillman went on to win the match and thus remain as an active wrestler in the World Wrestling Federation, it really WAS his last match - for a very different reason. One month later Pillman was due to wrestle at the next WWF pay-per-view "In Your House: Badd Blood" but was found dead in his hotel room prior to the show. So Jim Ross's comments were rather prophetic when he made those comments during the broadcast.
