Jamaica photo shoots, Lita's first title win, and more
gridoon3 June 2006
Warning: Spoilers
The main part of "Divas in Hedonism" is a series of bikini photo shoots, intercut with interviews, all taking place in Jamaica and featuring seven WWE (then WWF) divas of that period (2001): Lita, Terri (my two personal favorites), Tori, Trish, Jacqueline, Chyna and Debra.

The extra features include: a Lita magazine shoot and a Debra Arizona shoot (both trivial), a Chyna book signing (interesting), a slide show with about 100 photos of all the Divas (some great photos here), and six matches:

1) The Hardy Boyz and Lita vs. The Radicalz (Elimination Match from Armageddon 2000). An average match with some good moves by the Hardyz and a heroic effort by Lita when she is the last "survivor" of her team against Dean Malenko. **1/2

2) Ivory vs. Trish vs. Molly Holly (Triple Threat Title Match from Armageddon 2000). Too short to mean anything. *1/2

3) Chyna vs. Ivory (Title Match from Royal Rumble 2001). A pure squash with an inexplicable finish. Ivory doesn't land a single move on Chyna and she somehow....wins? *1/2

4) Lita vs. Stephanie McMahon (Title Match from Raw, with the Rock as special guest referee). Worthwhile mainly for historical reasons (Lita's first championship victory), but spoiled (or maybe enhanced, depending on your point of view) by too many outside interferences. **

There are also two other Raw "matches", Trish vs. Lita - Bra & Panties and Trish vs. Jacqueline - Spanking, which cannot really be rated; what can be said is: don't get your hopes up, they are both very short.

On the whole, the content of this DVD may leave something to be desired, but as a piece of history, and considering its rarity (I got my copy used), it is invaluable.
