Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): When discussing the value of the gold, Vitti says: "$350 an ounce, 16 ounces to the pound, 90 pounds to the bar." Precious metals are measured in Troy weight in which there are twelve ounces per pound not sixteen as in the Avoirdupois system. more

Roughhouse Laughter, 16 December 2002
7/10
Author: (willrams@earthlink.net) from Santa Maria, CA

I had never seen the first one, but I just saw this today, and it is to me like a Damon Runyon character story of real tough mobsters and their families. Billy Crystal is the psychiatrist for the likes of Robert DeNiro who was sent up to Sing Sing and now is under Billy's care. What a hectic time this is, and although the language is rather filthy, the story holds up well, and the laughs are really funny. The two actors work well together; there is a scene where Crystal mimics a real hardboiled criminal and he is terrific! Some of the language is a little hard to take, but overlook it anyway; you'll laugh and laugh; plus the outtakes when the picture ends, are especially funny! The whole audience laughs with them.
