A decent movie (which gains a lot from the multiple big-name cameos), 5 April 2009
5/10

Not exactly the ultimate satire movie about Hollywood or anything BUT it definitely has it's moments.

The biggest joy of the movie though, might be the incredible amount of big celebrity-names that show up in small cameo-parts in the movie, everyone from Ben Stiller to Britney Spears to Snoop Dogg to Tommy Lee to Sean Penn.

If you don't recognize at least 30 people in this movie you must have been living in a cave for the last 20 years.

Having big names in a movie sure it necessarily doesn't make a movie better, but it probably wouldn't have been as fun without them.

Storywise, it's just decent I suppose, it has some interesting ideas and it could have been a really good movie if the directing was a little better and they would have remained more focused on making it a true satire.

There are plenty of stupidity in the movie, of course, a lot of it is nasty fun but a lot is just plain nasty, I was not a fan of the call-girl/prostitutes scenes at all, but I guess they wanted people to feel sad for Pauly or something that he had to take it to that level, dunno.

Anyways, for the most parts of the movie, it's enjoyable enough to keep watching it through, it won't blow you away or anything but it's watchable.

Also the movie seemed to have been made with a no-budget, which confuse you even more how in the heck they got every celeb to appear in the movie, and a lot of scenes seems more or less improvised.

These 2 things sometimes works for the movies favor sometimes not.

It's far from a perfect movie by any means, BUT I did enjoy it even if a big reason was all those star-cameos in the movie.

5 out of 10 , Decent Movie.
